I think that it is important to show, who the person behind a website is. in our days and ages we’re going more and more virtual. That’s great, but I think that the “factor” human is still more important. So on this page, I will tel a bit about myself.
I was born in the Netherlands, which is a very international and interculutural Country. I was so lucky to have the chance to live in different countries and to work in different domains. There is one thing that was common: Working with international andinterculultural teams for international and also intercultural customers.
After I became a Bachelor Hospitality Management, I was invited by an hotelier to work in his hotel in Switzerland. I lived there for six years and I woeked as an event manager in high class fie star luxury hotels. Some stations were St.Moritz, Zurich, Lucenre. After leaving Switzerland, I lived in France (Paris, the United Kingdom (London), Italy (Milano).
When I arrived in Germany,I switched domains (because the hospitality industry in Germany is badly paid) and went back to school again and after finishing after two years, I worked as a consultant for websites and ecommerce projects. In 2010 I read an article bout websites for mobile devices and I found it very exciting. From this moment on I started to be interested in new techniques and to inform myself about innovations.
For a few years now, my focus has been on digitisation, the new e-commerce & marketing, changing customers and the new world of work. In 2019, in order to consolidate my autodidactic knowledge, I started to educate myself further. I have attended several courses and have been successfully certified for each course.
I am a curious man and I like to enhance my skills and to inform myself about the current world and society I am living in. And that’s the reason, that I write articles about topics, which correspond to my interest. On my latest website https://robvanlinda.digital, I have started to write about remote agile project management.
